Dr. Lavette Broussard
President/CEO, MCOM
Lavette is the President and CEO of Majestic Christian Outreach Ministries, Inc., which is home to the National Majestic Christian Choir. She has extensive experience working with multiple Choirs, Musicians, Choir Directors and Music Directors. She was responsible for the development and implementation of the successful pilot for the Choir Directors Training Program at From the Heart Church Ministries – a church that has over 25,000 members at its Parent location in Suitland, MD and more than 20 other From the Heart Churches World-Wide.
A master organizer with an entrepreneurial spirit, her background includes assisting new up-starts with the business development planning process, and fully developing existing businesses. Lavette possesses the unique ability to take ideas and concepts and provide visionary expertise that produces effective and precise products and programs. She served on the Board of Directors of Fearless Loving Youth – a Chicago-based Non-Profit Organization that focuses on At-Risk Youth. She is the author of 11 intellectual properties and the recipient of an Honorary Doctor of Philosophy Degree from CICA International University and Theological Seminary. She is a 7-year veteran of the US Army and has 33 years of federal service where she also served as President of AFGE Local 2, the largest federal union that advocates for government employees.
Her overall combination of education, significant training, business development background, personal high standard of ethics, and limitless enthusiasm forms the cornerstone of her business acumen and winning formula for “Developing Visionaries of Excellence for Tomorrow.” Lavette Broussard is a native of Chicago, Illinois. She is the seventh of nine children, lives in Prince George’s County, Maryland, and is the nurturing, loving God Mother to Christian Harrison and Omari and Tiffane Tingle.

Terrecida Wright Grant
Secretary, MCOM
Terrecida received her Associate’s Degree in Legal Secretarial from the Robert Morris School of Business at Chicago. She currently serves as a board member of the Estes Condo Association, Chicago, Illinois.
Terrecida’s career spans more than 35 years of service with the Commonwealth Edison Electric Company (ComEd). Currently retired, she worked across several industries to cultivate her deep sense of service acumen. It was during that time her organizational skills and discipline were developed and honed. This provided her foundational background incorporating the areas of Organization, Collaboration, Customer Service, Mediation, and Technology – which gave way to her 36-year profession with ComEd.
Terrecida is a devoted and active member of Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church in Chicago, Illinois. She has worked in the Youth Department, serving the youth for more than 10 years. Her service in the church’s Music Ministry encompasses 20 years – to include the Angelic Choir, where she also studied voice under the former minister of music, Curtis Burrell. In addition, she serves in the Naomi Circle Ministry – which tends to the needs of the widows, sick, and shut-ins.
Terrecida is a native of Chicago, Illinois. She is the third of eight children, and is the nurturing, loving God Mother of Paul and Rochell Lockhart, and Tre and Morgan Johnson. She is also the nurturing, loving Mother of Cameron, and Christopher Grant.

BettieJoe Davis
Treasurer, MCOM
BettieJoe has worked in the Healthcare field for more than 20 years, caring for those with disabilities and serving in various roles in different health settings. She is currently using her talents in the specialty of Endocrinology. She has dual certifications as a Medical Assistant and Medication Technician. She received her formal education in the District of Columbia. She is certified in Human Resource Management, manages, and owns an assisted living senior center and child daycare center. She is also a Notary. BettieJoe accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior early in her adult life. She currently attends Maryland Gospel Assembly Church and often reflects on Matthew 23:11, but he that is greatest among you, shall be your servant. She follows the saying, “There is no better reward than to be a blessing to others by putting their needs before your own.” BettieJoe is honored to join our team as Treasurer.
